Join us live for our Safeguarding Event for Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSL) which will give updates and useful information on practice, policy and procedures in the Early Years. We are pleased to announce that we will have an Officer from the both LADO and First Response teams.
The LADO will explain the process, and what you might expect to happen, if an allegation is made against a member of your staff. The First Response team will explain their role within MASH and how referrals submitted by you are handled. They will explain the instances where they need further information as a result of someone else making a referral for a family, where a child is known to you. They will also briefly cover the new Thresholds document and Continuum of Need.
There will be the opportunity to ask questions of our speakers. This session however does not replace the need for you to undertake formal training in accordance with current guidelines.
These meetings are provided free of charge and for the Summer term 2021 will be held virtually using Microsoft Teams in order to enable access for all.
We look forward to welcoming you at one of the meetings.
